Economic Recovery Information
This is a website that lets you, the taxpayer,
figure out where the money for transportation
infrastructure and investments from the American
Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 is going in South
Georgia. The money is being distributed by the Federal
Highway and Transit Administrations, the Georgia
Department of Transportation and the Valdosta-Lowndes
Metropolitan Planning Organization, and soon you'll be
able to see where it's going -- to which congressional
districts, to which counties, and to which projects. As
soon as we are able to , we'll display that information
visually in various ways such as in tables, charts, and
other graphics. For information about non-transportation
