Payroll & Benefits Specialist

Southern Georgia Regional Commission is accepting applications for a qualified candidate for the position of Payroll & Benefits Specialist, responsible for a staff of approximately 70. Applicants must have at least six years of experience administering payroll and benefits. The Payroll & Benefits Specialist’s duties include processing a timely and accurate bi-monthly payroll process, as well as holding the primary responsibility for communicating and administering benefit programs with an exceptionally high degree of professionalism and confidentiality. Driver’s license, MVR, background check, and drug test required. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Preferred qualifications: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and an Associates or better in Human Resource Administration or related field. Salary depends on experience and qualifications.
